The focus here is not on my outfit, though it is cute, but on the setting. AM Radio’s The Far Away wheat field is a great location for picture-taking or just exploring. Take your time here, because this location holds many secrets! Also take the time to donate to the Heifer Organization, an organization that provides livestock to the needy.
I’m gazing off into the distance in Dutch Touch’s pUK outfit; Gutterboots’ Slander boots; ETD’s Paula II hair; Tete a Pied’s Apres Ski skin; and Lemon’s Oh Marie shape.
Everyone’s been blogging this PixelDolls blouse from the Anticipation outfit, and now it’s my turn.
It’s really a versatile piece. You can wear it with any number of outfits, including the one it came with, or you can use it as a base to any number of mash-ups. I went with the simple option of pairing it with a great pair of pants. After going through all of my great pants, I went for these from the Silver Rose Missy outfit. I’m also wearing Yummy‘s Heart Window necklace; Tesla‘s Ziggy boots; Muse‘s Claris Pearl earrings; Hiccup‘s Nerd Swept hair; Cake‘s Sierra skin; and Lemon‘s Oh Marie shape.
I can’t believe I have to go back to work tomorrow. I need a drink.
I’m muttering under my breath in G.L.A.M.‘s Sequined Cocktail dress; Casa del Shai‘s Tamara stockings (from the set); Paper Couture‘s Logo Charm bracelet; Tesla‘s Natasha shoes; ETD‘s Lannah hair; Cake‘s Jessica skin; and Lemon‘s Oh Marie shape.
Iris Seale gave me a copy of her Punch Drunk Rock Star outfit. This tattoo-friendly outfit is perfect for the rock star, or groupie, in all of us! Pair it with some tough boots, I recommend Draconic Kiss‘ Riot boots, and you’re ready to go!
I’m also wearing Yummy‘s Golden Gun cuff; Pushbutton Industries‘ Amp Cable wrap; Blue Stone‘s Skull earrings; Swallowtail‘s Celebrity Chain necklace; Deviant Kitties‘ Siyu hair; Karamia‘s Kenzie skin; and Lemon‘s Oh Marie shape.
To be shiny and happy, go to Eye Candy and check out Candy Cerveau’s new Mokume Gane jewelry line. Mokume Gane, as Candy Cerveau explained, is an ancient technique that fuses several layers of metal together using heat and pressure to create a single layer of metal. Candy’s collection comes in gold, copper, and my favorite, silver. She has also made pieces for the special male avie in your life!
In addition to the Mokume Gane necklace, earrings, cuff and ring, I’m wearing Karamia‘s Wrap dress; Calla‘s Mistletoe hair; Karamia’s Sandflower skin; and Lemon‘s Oh Marie shape.
It’s that season again! Everyone’s out shopping, sending cards and singing songs. I couldn’t resist getting in on the fun, so a few Malibu and Diet Cokes ago, I took a little picture for everyone!
Hey, I didn’t say I didn’t have a couple drinkies before the picture, did I? No. I’m jumping for joy in Nymphetamine Boutique‘s Fury’s Liar top (it can be worn with or without sleeves, or as a bodysuit!); G.L.A.M.‘s Buttoned trousers; Muse‘s Celine earrings and Silver Bells and Satin Ribbon necklace (this was a group gift, so go join the Muse Fine Jewelry group to find out about more great group deals!); Insolence‘s Charlotte boots; Truth‘s Gillian hair; Tete a Pied‘s Vivant Paon skin (Roslin and CJ gave away a fourth version of this skin to their group when it reached the 500 mark, join the group and see if anything happens when it hits 1000, 1500, 2000 . . . !); and Lemon‘s Oh Marie shape.
Remember scrawling his name in the margins of your notebooks? Seeing if his last name sounded good with your first name? First love sure was swell. Ugh. Remember grope fests in the back of his two-door car? Worrying when you were late? Nevermind that you weren’t that regular to begin with at that age. Yep, first love blew.
I’m daydreaming about him in D!FF‘s Glitterold Stripe*d sweater; LF Fashions‘ Crystal capris; Lassitude & Ennui‘s Chloe flats; Veschi‘s Red Star earrings (tinted black); Eye Candy‘s Orbicular bracelet; ETD‘s Lydia hair; Tete a Pied‘s Vivant Pin-Up skin; and Lemon‘s Oh Marie shape.
Another “tough” look from me. I’m wearing flat boots, so I can chase you. I’ve got alcohol and cigarettes in my boots, and I’ve got a map. You know, so I can find you. If you give me your current address. Then I’ll find you and chase you. Maybe.
I’m being very threatening in Fade Dana‘s Raggy Ass skirt; Kurotsubaki‘s turtleneck; Civvies‘ Bad Boy Scout boots; Broken‘s Torn Fishnet hose; Fuel‘s The Key Keeper necklace; Cake‘s Wish hair; Tete a Pied‘s Vivant Celeste skin; and Lemon‘s Oh Marie shape.
Chloris Hathor has a new sim for her G.L.A.M. store! She’s reopened with several new luxury and casual designs. While I bought several dresses from her Luxe collection, I fell in love with the very high-waisted jeans from her Dark Denim jumpsuit. They look great on me in SL, but I’d hate to think of how they’d look on me in the real world. Thankfully, none of us have to see that.
I’m also wearing the new Loose Neck tunic and Tesla‘s Natasha shoes. To accent my outfit, I chose Calla‘s new Pocket Watch necklace; Miriel‘s Beatrice earrings (from the set); Sand Shack Surf Couture‘s Big Heart Jewelled Vintage Ring; ETD‘s Nicole hair; Tete a Pied‘s Vivant Lustrous skin (a new makeup available at the new sim!); and Lemon‘s Oh Marie shape.
Don’t wear this if you work in an office. Please, you’ll get a written warning in your personnel file — if you’re lucky.
If you really hate your job, try wearing Kyoot Army‘s new Dead Naga mini and the top from the Exquisite Corpse gown — you’ll need a good pair of fabric scissors, or a steady tearing hand. Also be sure to wear your Fuel Charmed boots; D3volution‘s Ratty Ass stockings and garter; PBI‘s Amp cable wrap; Fashionably Dead‘s Obsidian earrings; ETD‘s Nicole hair; Tete a Pied‘s Vivant Biba skin; and Lemon‘s Oh Marie shape.
